Our Approach to Law Enforcement
Good Morning, I would like to introduce everyone to our unique approach to Law Enforcement within Project Old Glory.
Our Goal with this project is to bring back the Good Old Days of Roleplay that some believe are long lost to time. We hope that our approach to Law Enforcement will assist us in that Goal.
Entry To Law Enforcement
Our Process to join Law Enforcement is going to be as simple as possible while still supplying members with the appropriate documents and information.
The Process is as Follows.
- A Member has an interest in Law Enforcement.
- They Find the Basic Law Enforcement Exam | This Exam is as Simple as we could make it while still getting an understanding of the applicant's general knowledge.
- Application Approval
- Applicant gets all the information needed to grow in Law Enforcement in Project Old Glory.
Once the Applicant reaches the approval process, they are given the ability to play in all departments without undergoing a training or FTO process. These recruits are placed at a probationary rank for 20 Days so they can explore and ask questions about all of the department opportunities we have to offer here. After the 20 days with no incident, the Recruit is expected to choose a Primary Department they wish to progress in with either rank or specialized units. They still retain the same access to all departments and may patrol with them at anytime but will not be able to progress in the tertiary departments past the rank of Trooper, Deputy, or Officer, or join another specialized unit.
We came to this decision to give all members interested in Law Enforcement here the opportunity to have fun everywhere, but keep opportunities for others available.
The caveat to this is that if we spot a problem with a recruit or see they need extra training within the 20 Day discovery period, that recruit will be pushed into the FTO program for additional assistance. After completion, they may resume where they left off and continue as normal.
Freedom for new LEO
All new LEOs can use a wide variety of vehicles and uniforms for all departments as a patrol unit, with some small guidelines to ensure realism within the community. These Guidelines are not strict whatsoever.
Our Goal here is to have fun and supply everyone with an enjoyable experience.
Opportunities within Law Enforcement
Within Project Old Glory, we have a large variety of specialized units, certifications, and assignments that everyone has a chance to enjoy.
All Departments within Project Old Glory have taken Units, and Procedures from real departments all around the United States.
For example, the Los Santos Police Department has taken real-life units from the Chicago Police Department and the Los Angeles Police Department, such as C.R.A.S.H Community Resources Against Street Hoodlums for the 1990s LAPD. As well as Tactical Units and the Intelligence Unit of the Chicago Police Department. The Goal is to give everyone a variety of things they can do over time, and we hope we have achieved that here.
